Pregnancy Nutrition

What you eat and what you don’t eat during pregnancy has a profound effect on the health and development of your baby for his or her whole life.

When you’re pregnant, your baby depends on you for all the building blocks required for healthy growth and development. So it’s vital that your diet is nutrient dense and tailored to your particular stage of pregnancy.

If you’re feeling pressured by the responsibility of eating for two, and confused by all the advice from well-meaning family and friends, you’re not alone. With two daughters of my own, I’ve been through it and I know how tough it can be.

That’s why I believe in the power of a well-designed nutritional programme. Designed to give your unborn baby the best possible start, the right diet will minimise your risk of morning sickness, gestational diabetes and a whole host of other conditions.

I work closely with a number of internationally renowned experts in the fields of fertility and pregnancy to ensure that we deliver the highest possible level of integrated healthcare to each of our clients. You can be sure you will receive a sympathetic, non-judgemental and holistic approach, along with an easy-to-follow programme, because I recognise that everybody makes changes at their own pace.

What my clients are saying

At the beginning of my pregnancy I knew nutrition would majorly affect the way I felt – and of course the early development of my baby – so I contacted Bump & Beyond Nutrition for a tailor-made nutrition plan to assist me at this time. At my first consultation, Rosie dealt with personal issues with empathy and no judgement and I really felt I connected with her. She understood my needs and gave me loads of easy-to-make recipes (some of which were healthy alternatives for when those sugar cravings kicked in). I would definitely recommend any woman embarking on their pregnancy journey to make an appointment with Rosie. I experienced very few adverse pregnancy symptoms and I definitely attribute this to the nutrition programme I followed.

On Saturday 25th July, Rosie’s partner Andy tragically passed away. He wasn’t ill and his passing has come as a devastating blow to all of his family and friends. Rosie will be taking compassionate leave to look after their children. She hopes to return to private practice when her children start school in September.
