Rosie’s Story

My mission is to help you live a healthier and more fulfilling life, filled with energy and free from painful symptoms of conditions that are all too common in our modern society.

I was just 12 when my mum was diagnosed with breast cancer. She was given six months to live, but she wasn’t about to give up that easily. She knew that what we eat and drink can significantly ease, reduce and even cure numerous conditions.

So she started juicing, growing organic vegetables, making powerhouse drinks like kefir – essentially, she started using food as her medicine. And it worked. My mum lived for another 16 rich and fulfilling years. She saw her daughter married and three grandchildren born. She travelled. She even continued to teach ballet, that’s how fit and healthy she was.

I saw the power of nutritional therapy for myself, and eventually started doing my own research to help tackle my own health problems, which included painful IBS and fatigue. Everything that I learned confirmed what my mum had already shown me – that the right diet can change lives. And that’s what I’m passionate about doing.

Online Nutrition Programme

I might be a nutritional therapist, but I’m also a working mum with two beautiful but demanding daughters! I know that time is precious. You don’t have hours to spend in the kitchen cooking from scratch every day. And you don’t want to spend a small fortune in the supermarket each week. Through Reinvent, I’ll teach you small changes you can make every day that will have a significant effect on your health. Within 12 months you will have transformed your relationship with food and will be eating in a way that perfectly compliments your unique body and lifestyle.

Nutritionist vs Dietitian vs Nutritional Therapist

I’m often asked what the difference is between these three job titles. Here’s what you need to know:

A nutritionist

is anybody who claims to be an expert in the field of nutrition. This is a broad description because some nutritionists have not studied, meaning they are not appropriately qualified and do not belong to a governing body.

A dietitian

is somebody who has a degree in Nutrition and Dietetics. Dietitians generally work with the NHS, although some will work directly with the public.

A nutritional therapist

is somebody who is appropriately qualified and has a recognised qualification in Nutritional Therapy. Nutritional therapists usually work in private practice offering bespoke health plans, using nutrition and lifestyle interventions to help support the body towards maintaining health.

When taking advice from any healthcare professional, always check they have appropriately qualified, are registered and belong to a regulated governing body.

Anything else you’d like to know? We’d love to hear from you!

On Saturday 25th July, Rosie’s partner Andy tragically passed away. He wasn’t ill and his passing has come as a devastating blow to all of his family and friends. Rosie will be taking compassionate leave to look after their children. She hopes to return to private practice when her children start school in September.
