One of my favourite parts about living a healthy lifestyle is the abundance of colours and flavours that fruits and vegetables can bring – and the dressings they can make!
Whilst seasonal, healthy eating can bring bursts of natural flavour, there’s no harm in a nourishing dressing to ease you in to the lifestyle! Store bought dressings are usually full of additives and processed ingredients (I’m looking at you, caesar), but they can be so easily home made.
Nut butters are an incredible base for dressings. They’re loaded with healthy fats, meaning you’ll feel incredibly satisfied without the post-meal bloat.
My absolute favourite brand, as so many of you have asked, is 100% Nutcessity! Their nut butters are combined with coconut flakes and pink Himalayan salt – making them incredibly easy on your digestion and full of essential micronutrients. There’s also tons of unique flavours you’d never of seen before (don’t get me started on the gingerbread almond!).
The variety of sweet and savoury options are incredibly fun to play around with – especially when it comes to dressings. Here’s a guide to the first successful combination, that truly became a crowd pleaser in seconds!
Serving Suggestion: Salads, raw slaws, pad thai.

90g Nutcessity Cashew, Brazil & Coconut Butter (or any cashew butter to hand!)

2 tbsp grated, fresh ginger
1 clove garlic
2 tsp chilli flakes
60ml lime juice
2 tbsp maple syrup
2 tbsp hemp oil
METHOD
